Amit Singla, District Governor for Rotary International District 3090, is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over three decades of professional experience, blending excellence with a deep commitment to service. Born on 26th October 1971 in Samana, Punjab, He grew up in a family that valued education, ethics, and entrepreneurship. His father, Late Sh. Sita Ram, a postgraduate in Economics, was an entrepreneur, while his mother, Smt. Bachni Devi, a graduate in English Literature, instilled strong moral values. His younger brother, Mr. Lalit Singla, also a Chartered Accountant, has been a significant influence in his life. He completed his early education at Public High School, Samana, and earned a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Public College, Samana. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, New Delhi, in 1995 and founded Amit K Singla & Co. in 1996. As the promoter of Radiant Textiles Pvt. Ltd. and Radiant Exports, he has been instrumental in developing Samana’s industry, driving local employment and economic growth. His passion for education led him to chair SRS Vidyapeeth, a CBSE-a^iliated school, in 2016. He also heads the Sita Ram Singla Charitable Educational Society, which supports education in Samana and neighboring communities. A Rotarian since 1996–97, Amit served as President of Rotary Club Samana in 2001–02 and now holds the position of District Governor Elect for Rotary District 3090, covering Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. In addition to his Rotary work, he plays key roles in several community organizations. He is the President of the Aggarwal Gaushala & Women College Committee and has served with the Aggarwal Dharmshala & School Prabhandhak Committee (2013–16), Aggarwal Sabha, Samana (2016–19), and Shri Shyam Sankirtan Mandal & Sewa Trust. He is also a Trustee of Shri Shyam Parivar Sangh and Shri Khatu Ji Mandir in Patran. CA Amit Singla has been honored three times by the Government of Punjab for his contributions to education and social service. His family plays a pivotal role in his journey. He is married to Rtn. Sachi Singla, a postgraduate in Economics with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree and the Chartered President of Rotary Club Samana City. Rtn. Sachi Singla is a visionary leader, deeply committed to education and social service, and plays an instrumental role in both the family and the community’s development. Their elder daughter, Dr. Akhila, MD in Pediatrics, is dedicated to providing compassionate care as a pediatrician. Their younger daughter, Ms. Samidha, holds a Master’s in Global Business from SP Jain School of Global Management in Dubai. Samidha previously worked as a Senior Business Analyst with Movado Group in Dubai and now manages the family business. His leadership is driven by the values of service above self, and as District Governor Elect of Rotary District 3090, he is committed to shaping a compassionate and purposeful future for the community.
